It’s been very sunny here in Bali and I feel like melting every day. Some say maybe because of the volcano but don’t worry, we’re still safe! LOL! Life must go on girls… So last week, I and Bali Beauty Bloggers got the chance to meet the charming Even Steven and His friends from TheBalm Cosmetics. The launching and beauty workshop was held at SOGO Discovery Shopping Mall Kuta Bali. Now you can meet TheBalm squads and have some fun with them here! Isn’t it fantastic? The beauty workshop was about “Complexion Rescue”, we were demonstrated on how to use TheBalm products with the right and simple way to get maximum results. The star of the day was Even Steven Whipped Foundation, It’s a light, airy, soufflé-like texture foundation that’s truly whipped! In Indonesia, It’s available in six long-lasting shades with a natural matte finish, whereas there are eight of them in USA. For my skin tone, the light/medium shade is perfect. What I love the most about this product is the texture, It’s super soft just like soufflé! Once you rub it on, It covers the skin smoothly and even without feeling too heavy, It has matte finish but very light. Just remember, a little goes a long way with Even Steven!  Even though It’s a small jar, you only need small amount for the entire face, apply it with your fingers or beauty blender and you’re ready to go.

For the preparation, don’t forget to clean the eyes and face thoroughly with Balms Away Eye Makeup Remover. As you can see in the pictures, this cleansing balm is very easy to use and effective to clean the eyes and face, It only needs dry tissue to wipe it off. It contains Vitamins and Lipids that work to hydrate and restore elasticity around the delicate eye are while keeping it smooth even after taking off your makeup.

To achieve a great make up look, one of the most important things is to have a flawless canvas. After cleansing the skin, put on some good primer before putting on anything else. This timeBalm Primer is very light and suitable for all skin types. As soon as you apply it, you’ll have satin finished skin, definitely the best canvas you will ever have!

Next up is of course our charming Even Steven Whipped Foundation, apply it evenly, then brush PHOTOBALM Powder Foundation lightly and voila! You’ll have a flawless complexion ready to be added some colors and highlights for perfect day and night looks.

Put on based eyeshadow with Batter Up Eyeshadow Sticks, these are long-wearing, high-pigmented cream shadow sticks that come in eight blendable and buildable shades. When I drew it on my hand, I immediately fell in love with it! It’s very buttery and pretty, just everything you’d wish for from eyeshadow sticks.

Another new comer that I recently welcomed was Nude Beach Eyeshadow Palette, you can check my full review here. This palette has pretty warm-toned, sort of fall colors eyeshadow. My favorites are Buff, Brainiac, Built, Breathtaking, and Bootylicious. If Even Steven goes to the beach nude, who can resist? (*me being seductive*) Afterwards, create perfect winged eyeliner with Schwing Black Liquid Eyeliner and SCUBA Water Resistant Black Mascara for that sexy eye look you’ve been craving for.

For the face, apply the naughty Frat Boy Blush to add just the right flush on the cheeks. Don’t forget to apply the sexy Bahama Mama Bronzer and lastly my go-to highlighter Mary-Lou Manizer. Another thing that I love about TheBalm products is their versatility. Frat Boy is actually eyeshadow and blush, Bahama Mama is bronzer, eyeshadow, brow-filler, and contour powder, whereas Mary-Lou can be used as an eyeshadow as well.  Talking about great investment, baby!

Last but not least, put on the loyal Meet Matt(e) Hughes Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in your favorite color. It comes in eighteen dreamy shades with long-wearing formula that has a comfortable matte finish. And you know what? It has delicious vanilla mint flavor! I’m not a matte person because my lips are quite dry, even after wearing lip balm, they could get quite chapped. But this one, ooohhh, definitely my best matte liquid lipstick! It dries quickly and stays all day without drying my lips. My favorite shades are Charming and Committed, they’re very pretty especially for nude looks.

Didn’t I tell you I love TheBalm Cosmetics? Ah, yes, I already mentioned it like hundred times. As you can see in the picture, I’ve hit the pan on my dear Mary-Lou. I’ve already planned to buy Manizer Sisters after this runs out. In addition, I have in TheBalm of Your Hand and Balm Voyage Palette that are waiting on my wish list. Hopefully, I will be meeting them anytime soon!
