Say hello to rainy season! Do you like when it’s raining all day long? It’s been gloomy here, but still HOT! These days are perfect for pampering time, and of course I had a blissful day at my favorite salon and spa, The Shampoo Lounge. Before, I had had Deep Argan Conditioning Hair Treatment there and it was very pleasant! I really recommend you to try this treatment for dry and frizzy hair.

This time, I chose Ginseng Hair Therapy for my tired hair and Milk & Honey Foot Spa for my neglected feet. As I mentioned on my previous post, The Shampoo Lounge has two branches which are in Seminyak and Nusa Dua. I got the chance to go to Nusa Dua branch for the first time, even though it’s like 25 km from my home. There is not many beauty salon or barber in Nusa Dua actually, so TSL is a perfect destination. Moreover, it is located in Bali Collection Shopping Center, very strategic and convenient because most of Jimbaran and Nusa Dua hotels provide complimentary shuttle service to here.

In my opinion, TSL Nusa Dua is very unique, it has different sections with their own decoration style.  Even though it’s not big, it’s very cozy and everything is in the right place. Let’s get to the treatment! Ginseng Hair Therapy is basically a treatment to promote hair growth and reduce hair loss. It started with hair wash, applying the ginseng mask, then enjoy head and shoulder massage while waiting the mask to be well absorbed in hot towel cover. Finish it with rinsing thoroughly and blow dry, the result? Thanks to Manis, I got super silky smooth hair that I want to touch all day long…

Now is my feet’s turn!  To be honest, I don’t pamper my feet much, it’s just that I’m too lazy. When I saw they have foot spa, I knew that this was for me! There are two different foot spa treatments, Milk & Honey Aromatic Foot Spa and Cucumber & Mint Foot Spa. Sounds tempting right? So, I picked the milk & honey one because I just love picturing my feet covered in milk and honey, who doesn’t love it?

I was moved to the comfy sofa to get my treatment done. Start with milk salt bath followed by applying organic honey and raw sugar scrub to smoothen and nourish the skin, all using natural ingredients. To thoroughly clean my feet, I asked Marni, the therapist to remove my nail polish and she kindly did extra simple pedicure, which I highly appreciate.

After buffing, I get massaged and wrapped in fresh Milk and Jicama Mask, then wash it off with flower bath, OOOHHHH… I felt like a princess! Since I always have colored toes, I thought I’d give Shellac Gel Nail Polish a try. CND Shellac is definitely one of the gel nail polish brands and It has over 100 shades! TSL has wide arrange of treatments that will surely pamper your nails. I picked green because I’m a green addict but never had green nails before, HA HA. It’s been more than a month now and I can barely see the change, the colors are still pretty and no cracks whatsoever.
